Accounts Payable Manager

We have an exciting new job opportunity for a self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented Accounts Payable Manager to join our Accounting team, located at our home office in Phoenix, AZ.   As the team lead for the Accounts Payable group, you will coordinate and supervise two AP Specialists and work with restaurant management and corporate office team members to ensure the timely, accurate and efficient recording and payment of invoices. Principal Accountabilities:Provide guidance to True Food Kitchen team members on proper coding of invoicesReview invoices and check requests for accuracy and required approvalsProcess weekly payment runMonitor vendor accounts to ensure payments are up to dateResearch and resolve invoice discrepancies and issuesCoordinate the centralization and automation of invoice processingLead the annual 1099 processProvide supporting documentation for annual auditsMonitor all fixed asset purchases and assist in updating fixed asset accounting recordsAssist in the tracking and self-assessment of use taxes, where applicableSupport the implementation of new accounting or accounts payable systemsUpdate and maintain accounts payable processing and internal control proceduresAssist with other projects as needed
