Accounting Manager

Description Robert Half Management Resources is seeking an Accounting Manager on an interim basis for one of rental service clients. This is a hands-on role requiring a strong understanding of accounting principles and a proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.Responsibilities: Oversee and participate in the month-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. Perform budget variance analysis, identify trends, and provide insightful commentary to management. Conduct fixed asset cost analysis, including depreciation and impairment assessments. Assist with the preparation of various financial reports, including cash flow statements and ad-hoc analyses. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information. Assist with system implementations and process improvements.Requirements Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience. Strong understanding of GAAP. Experience with ERP systems in smaller company environments preferred. Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced Excel skills. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
