This role involves understanding vendor billing, general repair services, and advocating for fair and transparent pricing to drive down costs, and recoup customer-fault expenditures . Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership and Development
Supervise, mentor, and lead a team of Accounts Specialists to achieve performance goals, maintaining high levels of accuracy and efficiency.
Provide guidance, training, and professional development opportunities to team members, enhancing both technical and interpersonal skills.
Conduct regular performance reviews, offering constructive feedback and coaching to improve individual and team productivity.
Financial Operations Management
Oversee and manage the team’s responsibilities, which include both accounts payable (paying vendors) and accounts receivable (pursuing collections from customers).
Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of accounts, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues promptly.
Process Optimization
Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance operational accuracy, efficiency, and speed.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve the effectiveness of accounting processes.
Collaboration and Communication
Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth communication and proper flow of financial information.
Act as a liaison between the accounts department and other internal stakeholders to address and resolve financial concerns.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting , Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or managerial position.
Skills:
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
