Description Robert Half is looking to permanent a skilled Accounting Clerk for a reputable organization. In this position, you will be responsible for playing an essential role in the process of Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R), general data entry, and aligning invoices to purchase orders and/or vouchers. Post financial information to journals and ledgers
Assemble statements and reports that require utilization of a variety of sources
Arrange documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of expenditure codes and accounting codes
Assist Accounts Payable: A/P invoice matching & filing, vendor invoices and disbursement filing
Contribute to Accounts Receivable: help with collection of past due balance, process daily invoices/credit, and apply cash receipt
General accounting: help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, other ad hoc projects
Resolve discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as required Requirements - Ability to multitask and attention to detail are critical
Spreadsheet and ERP system experience is ideal, but not required
Outstanding data entry skills
Proven knowledge of NetSuite
Expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR)
Oracle experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)
Experience with NetSuite
AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred
