New Way Academy is looking for a part-time After School Care Supervisor team member! Join us for the 2024-2025 School Year! This position would be every Wednesday from 2:00 to 5:30 p.m. (with other days available if interested!) and starts August 14th. Our teachers and staff support the school’s mission to educate children with learning differences to fulfill their potential. Responsibilities for this position include:
Implement and manage the after school care activities on a daily basis.
Support the New Way culture that promotes cooperation, learning and enjoyment.
Maintain and ensure safe student pick up from afternoon clubs.
Supervise all student activities to ensure safety at all times.
Perform clerical and clean-up duties as needed.
Assist students needing support and refer to the Head of School, Director of Support Services and administration as needed.
Collaborate with administration, specialists and teachers.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Prefer one year experience working with school-age children in a group setting.
Class 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (within 10 days of hire)
Compensation:
$20 per hour - Wednesdays 2:00 to 5:30 p.m.
