We are seeking a responsible & outgoing Receptionist / Administrative Assistant for our small Tax Consulting & Preparation firm during tax season (February 5th - April 16th) to perform a variety of administrative & clerical tasks with the possibility of additional employment during tax extension season (Aug 15th - Oct 15th). Duties will include answering phone calls, checking voice messages, scheduling meetings, supporting visitors. Other duties will include general administrative work such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, composing documents on behalf of partners, taking payments, etc. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral & written communication skills as well as competency with computers.

25-35 hrs/week
Responsibilities:
Draft correspondences and other formal documents
Plan and schedule appointments
Greet and assist onsite guests
Answer inbound telephone calls
Develop and implement organized digital filing systems
Perform all other office tasks
Qualifications:
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
Familiarity with Outlook, Word & Excel required
Familiarity with UltraTax & LaCerte would be preferable but certainly not required if you are a quick learner
