This position supports sales needs. Daily responsibilities vary but include:

DUTIES:

Provide superior, world-class customer service, explain product offerings, resolve customer concerns, promote

specials, and retain customer relationships

Answer incoming order and customer service calls

Take ownership of orders throughout the entire process; this includes preparation of quotes, closing the sale,

processing, proofing and finalizing orders, and completing any necessary follow up

Make outbound calls to customers to obtain information necessary to complete orders, retain relationships, offer

services and promote specials

Maintain customer confidence and ensure information security by keeping information confidential per department

and company security protocol

Respond to customer emails and faxes

Resolve issues such as credit card declines, shipping exceptions, and reshipping of orders as necessary

Maintain and update the customer database by entering new customer information, catalog requests, mailing lists

and email addresses

Perform necessary administrative work to maintain an organized and functional customer service center including

faxing, filing, stocking, shredding documents and emailing receipts to customers

Contribute to maintaining a safe work environment at all times

Contribute to the team effort by assisting in other departments as needed

Perform to the best of one’s ability

Requirements:

Ideal candidate must have inbound customer service experience in phone center environment

IB/OB Sales experience a plus

Professional & enthusiastic interest in providing outstanding customer service

Excellent verbal & written communication skills with accurate typing, spelling and grammar

Attention to details

Strong phone skills

Highly dependable and punctual

Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Internet Explorer

Must be self- motivated and have the ability to multitask

Must be able to work in fast-paced environment and work well under pressure

Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

Must be flexible and available to work overtime, including Saturdays and Sundays as needed
