Full time and Part time Kennel Technicians needed for busy NW Valley Animal Hospital
Academy West Animal Hospital has been providing quality health care and boarding for animals for over 49 years.
Our practice is dedicated to being client-centered and we strive to always provide the highest quality patient and client care. We treat all our patients with the care and attention WE would expect. We cherish the long-term relationships we have developed with our clients and their pets over the years.
We are looking for full to part time kennel assistant to take care of our hospital patients and residents in our boarding kennel. There will also be occasional assistance needed with animal restraint in our hospital. General maintenance and cleaning duties for the Boarding facility and hospital also.
Pay: We offer competitive pay that is dependent on experience.
We are looking for an out-going, responsible, self-motivated, caring individual. You must be a pet lover with good animal and communication skills.
Skills & duties required but not limited to:
Must Love animals
Mature, outgoing and enthusiastic.
Organization and attention to detail is a must.
Must be able to multi-task and manage time effectively.
Good observational skills
Good judgement and logic.
Ethical: Honest, diplomatic, courteous, professional.
AWAH is open 8:00am to 5:30pm Monday thru Friday and 8:00am to 4:00pm Saturday.
Shift we are hiring for:
Week days and Saturdays are varied, will set schedule at time of hire.
Must be able to work a combination of days.
Average day shift is 7:50 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Upon special request we ask you be willing to work any shifts.
