Job Summary:
As a Parts Counter Person, you will assist technicians with parts inquiries, orders, and inventory management. You will play a key role in ensuring that parts are correctly ordered, stocked, and delivered in a timely manner to support both our service department and technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist service technicians and with parts requests and orders
Check availability, pricing, and order status using SSF, Worldpac or dealer ordering catalogue
Maintain accurate inventory and ensure proper stocking levels
Process invoices, returns, and special orders accurately and efficiently
Provide excellent customer service at the counter, over the phone, and via email
Maintain a clean and organized parts department
Work closely with the service department to ensure timely delivery of parts for repairs
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in an automotive parts department or similar role preferred
Familiarity with automotive systems and terminology
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
Proficiency in using parts catalog software and dealership management systems (ETK, VGA online, etc.)
Must have a valid driver’s license
