As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join us as a Loan Officer Assistant.

Position Overview:

As a Loan Officer Assistant at Neighborhood Loans, you will play a crucial role in supporting our loan officers in all aspects of the loan process, from application to closing. You will work closely with loan officers to ensure timely and accurate completion of loan files, while providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Responsibilities:

Assist loan officers in gathering necessary documentation and information from clients to complete loan applications.

Review and organize loan files to ensure all required documents are included and comply with regulatory standards.

Communicate with clients, real estate agents, and other stakeholders to obtain missing information and address any inquiries throughout the loan process.

Coordinate with underwriters, processors, and other team members to facilitate the timely approval and closing of loans.

Provide administrative support to loan officers, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and preparing correspondence.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in the mortgage industry, preferably in a similar role.

Strong understanding of loan files, including familiarity with loan documentation and compliance requirements.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in industry software and tools, such as Encompass or similar loan origination systems, is preferred.

Must be self-motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
