Core Tile and Stone is looking for a skilled Accountant/Bookkeeper with strong QuickBooks experience to join our team. This role focuses strictly on accounting and bookkeeping to ensure accurate financial management as our company continues to grow.
Responsibilities:
- Process and reconcile deposits
- Prepare and track invoices and estimates
- Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate records
- Generate financial reports and provide insights on expenses and revenue
- Manage all transactions in QuickBooks with accuracy and timeliness
- Explain and communicate financial details clearly to non-accountants (Office, Supers, Project Managers, Accountants, Contractors, Designers, etc.)
Qualifications:
- Proven accounting or bookkeeping experience (construction/tile/stone industry a plus)
- Expertise in QuickBooks is required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong math skills and accounting
- Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable, reliable, responsible
- Positive attitude bringing good energy to the work place
- Team player
- Proactive mindset: able to identify discrepancies, propose improvements, and take initiative without constant supervision
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Formulas, pivot tables, data entry
- Bilingual in Spanish & English preferred
