30% - Resort Activities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive activities program to cater to the diverse interests and preferences of resort guests. This position will coordinate and schedule activities such holiday, special events and resort activations throughout the property. Monitor guest feedback and adjust the activity program based on guest preferences and comments.
Work closely with the Hotel’s Marketing team to coordinate & promote the hotel activities
Formulate, maintain, and supervise all departmental policies, procedures, regulations and standards within established state licensing guidelines and hotel policy.
Participate in marketing of programs including involvement in Omni Montelucia Resort newsletters, brochures, and logo items.
Responsible for assisting with back up activities in a pre-assigned indoor facility for members and guests when there is inclement weather.
Responsible for maintaining financial and program records relating to recreational activities, events, programs, etc.
50% - Food & Beverage Outlets Event Planning & Coordination:
Plan and execute a variety of food and beverage events in the Prado and Centro restaurants. This will include management of the dining reservations and booking systems, point of contact for all large party inquiries, and follow-up with potential guests within a 24-hour period.
Collaborate with the culinary team to create menus and ensure food quality and presentation meet the highest standards.
Oversee event logistics, including space setup, décor, audio visual needs. This will be processed through REO system which will be sent out to all involved parties for each event within a minimum of 72 hours of the event.
Collaborate with the marketing team to promote resort activities and food & beverage events through various channels, including social media, website and advertising.
Provide outlet site inspections for perspective parties when necessary.
Conduct final planning meetings prior to events when necessary.
On conclusion of event, review final bill and comments with the planner.
Maximize revenues from groups wherever possible and minimize erosion of check averages from price sensitive groups.
Coordinate support services (flowers, entertainment, decorations, A/V, etc.) to provide complete client satisfaction.
Physically double-check all function arrangements against specifications of client. Correct where needed.
Provide effective communication to ensure repeat bookings.
Maximize revenues for the hotel through upselling techniques.
Other duties assigned by the Director of Food & Beverage.
20% - Food & Beverage Event Space Sales
Identify and target potential clients for private events, including corporate events, weddings, parties and special occasions for the Prado & Centro restaurants as well as the Cabanas for both property pools.
Build and maintain a robust client database through networking, outreach, and referrals.
Initiate and maintain regular contact with potential clients to promote the restaurants and pools event hosting services.
Meet with clients to understand their event needs, preferences, and budgets.
Provide expert guidance on menu selection, event logistics, and customization options to create tailored event packages.
Conduct site tours to showcase the restaurant’s event spaces and facilities.
Prepare detailed event proposals and cost estimates for clients, outlining all services, menus and associated costs.
Negotiate pricing and terms to secure bookings, ensuring profitability for the outlets.
Assist clients in completing contracts and securing necessary deposits and payments.
Liaise between the client and the restaurant’s culinary and management teams to ensure seamless execution of the event.
Set and achieve sales targets and revenue goals, monitoring progress and adjusting strategies as necessary.
Track and measure your sales to compare against target goals

Background in Hospitality, preferably in Restaurants
