Description We are offering an opportunity for a Project Assistant based in Paradise Valley, Arizona, United States, to contribute to the execution of a high-end food and beverage event with emphasis on whisky. This role is within the event management industry and will involve handling ticketing and check-in operations using iPad & iPhones, along with selling tickets on-site. The employment type for this role is temporary.Responsibilities: Handle the check-in process for event attendees efficiently, verifying their tickets or names. Manage ticket sales on-site, ensuring a smooth process for attendees. Operate ticketing and check-in systems on iPad & iPhones proficiently. Assist in maintaining an organized box office and ensuring all necessary materials are available. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing attendee inquiries promptly and professionally. Utilize your skills in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint to manage timelines and organize files related to the event. Perform data entry tasks accurately, updating customer records as needed. Collaborate with the event team to ensure a successful event execution. Perform additional duties such as scanning and shipping functions as required by the event. Be prepared to step in for on-call candidates if necessary. Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word Proven experience in Customer Service with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Familiar with Data Entry and ability to maintain accurate records Ability to Manage Timelines effectively, ensuring project deadlines are met Strong organizational skills, particularly in Organizing Files and maintaining a structured system Experience with Scanning documents and converting them into digital formats Knowledge of Shipping Functions and processes Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and contribute effectively to project outcomes Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced work environment High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Previous experience in a similar role as a Project Assistant would be beneficial.
