A Day in The Life at MKS:As a Distribution Center Team Member at MKS Instrument's Arizona Distribution Center of Excellence, you will partner with internal and external customers to provide world class distribution center centric support. In this role, you will report to the Inbound Supervisor.You will Make an Impact By:
Perform the physical or administrative/physical tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.
Unpack and check goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintain records of received goods, and reject unsatisfactory items where necessary.
Lift heavy items and may operate a forklift.
Prepare and maintain records of merchandise shipped. Post weights and shipping charges and prepare goods for final shipment.
Examine, stock, and distribute materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
May prepare kitting packages for assembly production and customers.
Travel Requirements: Up to 10% of Travel may be required.
Skills you Bring:
Prior experience in shipping, receiving, and storing activities.
2 to 5 years of related experience in a warehouse environment.
Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic skills.
Ability to do shift work when directed.
Completion of high school diploma, vocational training, or equivalent is preferred.
Physical Demands & Working Conditions:
Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Regularly requires good manual dexterity and coordination.
Frequently positions self to perform tasks and positions objects below, at, and above shoulder level.

Must be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
