Join our team at A Toe Truck, a trusted leader in towing services. We are seeking a Fleet Mechanic to oversee the maintenance and repair of our tow truck fleet and ensure seamless operations.
Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate all maintenance and repair activities for a fleet of 60+ light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles
Conduct regular inspections to uphold fleet safety, compliance, and efficiency.
Schedule routine maintenance and handle emergency repairs to minimize downtime.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and inventory.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical and technical issues as required.
Collaborate with management to define and maintain operational priorities.
Oversee DOT inspections and ensure regulatory compliance.
Manage parts and supply procurement while optimizing inventory efficiency.
Qualifications:
5 -10 years of experience in fleet maintenance, heavy-duty truck repair, or a related field.
Proven leadership experience in an automotive or mechanical environment.
Comprehensive knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills for mechanical issues.
Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
ASE certification or equivalent is preferred
CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) is preferred but not mandatory.
DOT certification is a plus.
Welding and fabrication experience is also a plus.
