The Door Shop is seeking an office assistant with strong customer services skills to answer phones and assist with day to day business. Hours of operation are 7:00a to 3:00p, Monday through Friday. Position is full time and compensation will be based on previous experience. Paid holidays, and after one year of employment we offer simple IRA, and occurred paid vacation.
Qualifications:
Customer Service experience preferred
Basic knowledge and proficiency preferred with QuickBooks & Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word)
Type at least 40 wpm
Excellent proof-reading skills
Dependable, organized, detail-oriented, with good communication skills
Positive attitude and team player
Be able to lift and carry 25 pounds
Be able to climb a ladder
Duties will include:
Handle incoming calls; take messages if necessary
Performing clerical work: filing, faxing documents, opening mail, email
Greet and assist customers
Handle hardware packages and rekey of locks will train
Provide administrative support to include: data entry, typing estimates, preparing invoices, collecting payments
Responsible for helping keep office neat and clean
