Are you a passionate individual with a knack for numbers and a devotion to details? Precision Technical Service is currently seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper part time, to help us manage our financial records with accuracy and integrity. In this critical role, you’ll be a vital part of our finance team, working to ensure the smooth operation of our company’s financial engine.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations.
Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information.
Regularly maintain detailed records of accounting transactions.
Stay compliant with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements.
Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
Use Quick Books software, Excel spreadsheets, and databases proficiently.
Handle sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity.
Qualifications:
Proven bookkeeping experience.
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software (QuickBooks).
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Accounting or Business Administration is advantageous.
