Job Title: Aircraft MechanicShift : Monday – Friday, 6am – 2:30pmPay: $25hr-35hr Depending on expereinceLocation : Mc/dowell/ GreenfieldJob DescriptionAs an Aircraft Mechanic, you will perform work on assigned aircraft, including assembly, repair, and modification of mechanical assemblies and subassemblies, adhering to FAA guidelines.Responsibilities

Bench assemble and install major mechanical components and systems on aircraft.

Perform functional tests of mechanical components and systems on aircraft.

Correct discrepancies using information from engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, or other documents as required.

Use manufacturing planning, written instructions, schematics, blueprints, and other applicable technical data to assemble, install, or replace aircraft components.

Use manufacturing shop stamp or test stamp to sign off completed work, including manufacturing planning, test procedures, inspection discrepancy records, product assurance records, and applicable program documentation.

Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy work area.

Essential Skills

Minimum of high school education.

Aviation mechanical experience (rotor or fixed wing), 5 years minimum.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical publications.

Ability to use and maintain various pieces of ground support and test equipment.

Ability to understand and follow instructions and the ability to concentrate.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

5 or more years of work-related experience or an equivalent of educational experience.

A&P certification.
