Description We are a well-established company located in Goodyear, AZ, seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have experience with QuickBooks and a strong understanding of accounts payable processes.Responsibilities:
Process accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently using QuickBooks
Review and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness
Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts
Prepare and process payments, including checks and electronic transfers
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
Maintain vendor relationships and address inquiries promptly
Assist with month-end closing procedures related to accounts payable
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Prepare and analyze AP reports as needed
Collaborate with other departments to resolve financial issues
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
2+ years of accounts payable experience
Proficiency in QuickBooks
Strong understanding of accounting principles and AP processes
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
