The registered nurse will be responsible to prescribe delegate and coordinate nursing care. This position requires providing care/service from a chronically ill to a critically ill through rehabilitating adolescent through geriatric patient population in a manner that demonstrates the functional/ developmental age of the individual served. The registered nurse will incorporate multiple disciplinary care and management with involved health care team members.QualificationsMinimum:
One year RN dialysis experience
ADN Diploma or foreign equivalent
Current AZ State RN License in good standing
Current American Heart Association BLS healthcare provider card
American Heart Association ACLS card
Must have a thorough knowledge of nursing principles and procedures.
A thorough knowledge and skills and the techniques of the nursing care of the dialysis patient
As well as critical care patients including expertise in the use of dialysis equipment resuscitation equipment and monitoring equipment such as EKG.
Must demonstrate high proficiency level in the area of hemodialysis critical care nursing assessment and intervention.
Preferred:
Preferred one year of critical care nursing experience experience as a professional nurse in the acute care hospital.
