We have a current opening for a contract driver to take over our Cottonwood/Sedona/Camp Verde area. This is a contract position and you would need to supply the equipment and cover all cost.
This work would start at 8am M-F. You would deliver throughout the area with our daily work. This work will be brought to our location in Camp Verde where you will collect your stops for the day. You will need to use a smartphone device, download our delivery application so you can obtain a pod (proof of delivery, signature) for each delivery done.
This route is a part time contract route, so it should not consume your whole day.
This work is paid by delivery you complete. Each delivery has a different pay amount depending on the account.
All contractors will need to submit an invoice. Invoice periods are 1st of month to the 15th of the month, 16th of month to end of month. Invoice need to be turned in 5 days after close of period. Contractors are paid via Openforce they will send out your settlement twice a month on the 5th and 20th. Direct deposit or through a debit card they can offer if you do not want direct deposit.
Contractors are required to occupational hazard insurance, this is a fee of 67.50 per settlement, this will be deducted from your settlement pay out. Cargo insurance, if you do not have your own policy, you will be added to our company policy (the company policy only covers elite cargo) you would need to get your own if you wish to cover non Elite work, Elite's cargo insurance cost is $32.50 per settlement. Last is the scanner fee of $12.50 per check. This is $112.50 per settlement.
This route pays an average of $1600-$2000 2x a month. Vehicle would need to be a large SUV, Mini van, Truck with camper or enclosed space to carrier work that can't sit in the bed, Cargo Van, or sprinter van. Some days a car will work, it all depends on the level of work that we get for that day. Parcel sizes range from small envelops, to pallet of work.
