Job Summary:
Service and repair of fleet buses, vehicles and equipment.

Position Type: Full-Time, Year-Round
Pay: $26.80/Hour
Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days/per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities:
Assist all guests, internal and external, in a polite and professional manner.
Complete mechanical repairs and service on company fleet buses and vehicles in a timely, thorough and cost efficient manner.
Complete work orders accurately; listing work completed, all parts used and time spent.
Adhere to all reporting processes as required by the DOT.
Order parts as necessary through the Parts Clerk & Fleet Maintenance Manager.
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical/electrical/air problems for repairs.
Operate the wrecker as needed, to include being on-call beyond the daily garage hours of operation.
Process cash and credit card transactions for work done outside of the garage.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Adhere to all safety, risk management and environmental policies in completion of tasks.
Maintain the appropriate and current license and medical card as required by the D.O.T
Willingness to comply with the GCNPL Company Vehicle Policy.
Wear all required personal protective equipment while performing tasks.
Maintain clean work area.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Three years hands on experience with Cummins engines
Familiarity with CNG fuel systems.
Possess an understanding of DOT requirements as they relate to the work that is necessary on fleet buses and vehicles.
Experience with computerized engine controls.
Experience with multiplexed vehicle systems and traction/transmission control systems.
Possess own hand and air style tools of sufficient quality to complete tasks.
Possess or obtain a valid Arizona Driver Commercial Driver's License with passenger and air brake endorsements.
Possess physical ability to perform the job, including bending, crawling under vehicles, long periods of standing and lifting.
