Facilities and Fleet Associate

Job Overview:

The Facilities and Fleet Associate is responsible for assisting in the management and maintenance of our company’s facilities and vehicle fleet. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the operational functionality, safety, and cleanliness of our physical assets, including office spaces, warehouse, and company vehicles. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and possess a strong ability to solve problems efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of facilities and fleet vehicles to ensure they meet safety standards and operational requirements.

- Coordinate and oversee repairs, preventive maintenance, and servicing of buildings and vehicles, liaising with external contractors and service providers as necessary.

- Manage inventory of equipment, and maintenance materials, placing orders and restocking items as needed.

- Assist in the implementation of facility renovations, space planning, and new construction projects.

- Respond promptly to facility-related emergencies or issues.

- Maintain records of maintenance schedules, warranties, inspections, repairs, and replacements for facilities and fleet vehicles.

- Support the development and enforcement of facilities and fleet management policies, procedures, and best practices.

- Assist in managing fleet vehicle assignments, scheduling, and usage monitoring to optimize operational efficiency.

- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all facilities and fleet operations.

- Coordinate logistics and support for company events and meetings, including setup and breakdown of spaces as needed.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in facilities management, logistics, or a related field is a plus.

- Proven experience in facilities or fleet management, maintenance, or a similar operational role.

- Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members, external vendors, and service providers.

- Ability to work independently
