Job Opportunity: Experienced Conventional/Manual Machinist Needed
A Las Vegas manufacturing company is seeking a top-notch Journeyman-level CONVENTIONAL/MANUAL Machinist with extensive lathe experience. We’re looking for someone ready to "hit the ground running." If you haven’t been working in the machining industry recently, this may not be the best fit.
Key Requirements:
Extensive experience in manual machining, especially lathes
Proficient in reading drawings and blueprints
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow stringent directions
Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced job shop environment
Must have your own machinist tools
Responsibilities:
Work with various materials including carbon steels, aluminum, stainless steel, and bronze
Handle parts ranging from 1/4" diameter to 40" diameter
Perform tasks such as full manufacturing, quick modifications, and complex repairs
Use conventional lathes, mills, band saws, surface grinders, drill presses, and hydraulic presses
Benefits:
Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour (based on experience)
