Caregiver

Caregiver needed for a 86 year old man with dementia. He is a warm and happy soul with a mild temperment. He needs help with showering and the right person will help hold him accountable for doing personal hygiene tasks in a friendly but firm way. The job requires making meals, thorough house cleaning, excellent communication skills, and must learn and play board and card games. Dad goes for walks twice a day so you must have a valid drivers licence and vehicle to go to a near by park and the rec center. Bi-weekly trips to the library and an occasional trip to the barber shop or store are also needed. A background check and or fingerprint clearnace card is preferred. Please do not apply if you have a criminal record or if you use drugs of any kind including THC. Hours are Monday-Friday 8:00-2:00 pm. Pay is weekly on Saturdays via Zelle.
