FreeForm Coffee Shop Barista Position
Position: Part-time, 16-32 hours/week
Schedule: 6:30am-2:30pm, Two to Four Days/Week
Pay Rate: Starting @ $16.25/hr + tips (expect an additional $10-15/hr)
Responsibilities:
- Prepare artfully crafted beverages on demand according to shop standards in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provide excellent customer service and coffee education for our guests in a welcoming, inclusive and fun environment
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Contribute to a positive and engaged working environment.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of supplies
- Contribute to the development of new drink recipes and menu items
- Operate and maintain coffee equipment and machinery
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Opening and closing duties, efficient cleaning and side work
- Develop an interest in continually improving your own knowledge of specialty coffee and FreeForm’s seasonally changing products and beverage offerings.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience as a barista
- A passion for world class coffee and exceptional customer service
- A willingness to learn and share knowledge with our customers
- An ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- An attention to detail and a dedication to quality
- An ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Dependability and reliable transportation
- An ability to lift at least 25lbs and work on your feet for up to 8 hours a day
