A small business and dynamic engineering and management company is looking to hire a Project Manager with a solid background in landscape architecture, architecture, general engineering, or construction management.

This full-time position will support The National Park Service at the Grand Canyon National Park (GRCA) as an in-house project manager to represent the governments interest in the review, coordination, and administration of design and construction projects within the GRCA. This position is subject to contract award and is a 1-year period of performance tentatively scheduled to start May 1, 2019.

The work consists primarily of simple-to-complex, multi-disciplinary design and construction projects with challenges arising from multiple perspectives such as unusal/sensitive natural or cultural resource issues, multi-year phasing effecting schedules and funding, high visibility, controversial with significant political interest and oversight and/or possible jurisdictional disputes”all requiring the need to apply judgment to critical issues and problems. Projects are largely of national significance.

The incumbent serves as a project team member working in collaboration with park and other team members. Majority of work is performed by monitoring in the field and at a company provided computer work station. Please note that several worksites are non-ADA compliant.

Requirements:

-Background in landscape architecture, architecture, general engineering, or construction management

-Ability to pass security screening for Government facilities
