About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Loan Servicing Representative to join the Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) Early Payoff Team as part of Auto Operations. This team handles GAP refunds for customers who complete payment of their loans prior to maturity.Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com.In this role, you will:

Support Loan Servicing functions related to reviewing, researching, and processing GAP loan early payoffs

Review, research, process, and respond to written and phone inquiries of moderate complexity, ensuring the interests of the company are protected

Ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met

Identify opportunities to improve processes and recognize patterns and/or trends and immediately report issues for review

Interact and communicate with dealerships, GAP administrators, and both internal and external customers

Use relevant information and independent judgment to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations

2+ years of Loan Servicing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

Prior experience in financial services specific to auto

Experience providing strong customer service while listening, eliciting information efficiently, comprehending, and resolving customer issues

Flexibility to adapt to different tasks in a production environment

Strong telephone etiquette skills with the ability to manage both inbound and outbound calls

Strong analytical skills with the ability to maintain the highest attention to detail and accuracy

Knowledge and understanding of Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) processes

Systems experience to include CARS, iTop, ICMP, Workflow, or the equivalent

Ability to proactively navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information

Experience managing a pipeline of work to meet service level agreements (SLAs)

Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Intermediate Microsoft Office skills

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

Ability to embrace change with enthusiasm

Job Expectations:
