Job Title: Electrical EngineerJob DescriptionThe ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and components for a variety of engineering projects. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, embedded software development for 32-bit ARM processors, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.Responsibilities
Design and develop electrical systems, circuits, and components for electronic module level devices.
Analyze system requirements and specifications to ensure electrical and embedded software solutions meet project goals.
Create detailed technical drawings and schematics.
Perform testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance on electrical systems and embedded software.
Collaborate with other engineers, technicians, and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
Participate in project planning, cost estimation, and timeline development.
Keep up-to-date with advancements in electrical engineering technologies, embedded systems, and best practices.
Provide technical support during the installation and commissioning of systems.
Essential Skills
Electrical design
PCB design
Schematic capture
Proficiency in CAD software (Altium preferred)
Experience with C programming for embedded systems including development for 32-bit ARM processors
Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuits, power distribution, and embedded software development
Experience with testing and troubleshooting electrical components and embedded software
Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations (e.g., UL, IEEE)
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical PCB design
Experience with Bluetooth, WiFi, connectivity, USB
UL Standard, Hardware, PCB, embedded software, customer facing, embedded C
5+ years of product experience with government/defense/aerospace/consumer industrial products
Work EnvironmentLocated in Downtown Chandler, the team emphasizes culture and being able to hang out. The office environment includes amenities such as happy hour, beer on tap, and a playful atmosphere.
