Overview and Essential FunctionsLooking for an opportunity to make a difference? Then you may have found your next career move. We’re looking for Warehouse/Inventory Technicians (based out of Apache Junction, AZ) to join our team and help connect America. What you'll do:
Receive and unload incoming material and compare information on packing slips with purchase orders to verify accuracy of shipment
Sort, count, package, label, and unpack inventory that is received
Inspect shipments for damages, loss, or defects
Operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift in loading and unloading material and equipment
Stock shelves in the warehouse
Pull spools/materials and distribute them to their designated area
Prepare orders for shipment in accordance with the pick ticket and customer requirements
Package and ship in accordance with packaging guidelines and accepted methods/practices
Provide accurate reporting on receipt of materials and distribution of purchased items
Travel to other markets may be required for delivery/pick up of materials
QualificationsWho we are looking for:
You are at least 18 years old
You are authorized to work in the United States for this company
You have a valid Driver's License; Medical Card or CDL preferred
You have experience within the warehousing/inventory industry (preferred)
You have Forklift experience (preferred)
You have basic knowledge of and ability to operate various types of utility trucks and equipment in a safe manner
You have basic knowledge of and ability to use hand tools and equipment in a safe manner
You have basic computer and mathematical skills (required)
You are able to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes, weighing up to 50 to 100 pounds 75% of the time
You are able to climb up and down ladders, scaffolds and other objects with variable heights
Maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all regulations and policies
You are able to communicate effectively with customers, employees, etc.
You are able to work as needed (over-time, after hours, on weekends, for emergencies or on-call)
You are able to maintain a safe work environmentYou are able to work in all weather conditions
