Job DescriptionTests and inspects products at various stages of installation process and compiles and evaluates data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products by performing the following duties.Responsibilities
Interprets structural engineering drawings, modular shop drawings, and mechanical drawings. Confers with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards.
Progressively inspect modular camp units during the installation phase including framing, architectural, and mechanical systems to ensure conformance with engineered drawings and project quality standards.
Records test data, applying statistical quality control procedures.
Evaluates data and writes reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.
Recommends modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability.
Recording of testing data, interpretation of results per project quality standards, and electronic input for project turnover.
Other duties as assigned.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Minimum five (5) years directly related Quality Control Inspector experience with knowledge of construction, modular buildings, and the oil & gas industry. Or approved equivalent.
Drivers license and acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years to be eligible under company vehicle insurance policy preferred.
