Join Alaska Trailer as a Full-Time Sales Associate in Soldotna!

We’re looking for a dedicated, energetic Sales Associate to take the reins at our Soldotna location. As the sole team member here, you’ll handle sales, support our rentals and parts departments, and deliver exceptional customer service. If you’re ready to make an impact, we’d love to hear from you!

THE BASICS

Starting pay: $18-20/hr + commission

Work hours: 5+ days per week, with flexibility based on company needs

Start date: Immediate

About the Role

As our go-to person in Soldotna, you’ll manage day-to-day operations, assist customers, and support both rentals and parts. Balancing indoor tasks with outdoor, hands-on work, you’ll gain in-depth knowledge of our trailer products to support the sales process. You’ll create a smooth customer experience—welcoming visitors in-store, taking calls, and guiding customers through sales and rentals. Your day will include managing quotes, contracts, and paperwork, along with assisting with trailer hookups, returns, and equipment loading/unloading. A positive, can-do attitude will help you thrive as you keep Soldotna running smoothly while staying connected with the larger team’s goals.

Benefits

PTO: Accrued 2.34 hours per pay period

Retirement Savings: SIMPLE plan with up to 3% match

Holiday Pay: Kicks in after a 90-day probation period (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s)

Total Annual Paid Time Off: 56.16 hours PTO + 48 hours holiday pay
