Come experience Work You Can Believe In! The Nature Conservancy in Alaska is seeking a Trustee and Philanthropy Relations Manager. This position is critical to the Alaska Chapter and fundraising team delivering on a five-year fundraising plan to achieve our conservation mission. As a key member of a six-person philanthropy team, this position helps shape team priorities and develop winning strategies for fundraising, primarily outside of Alaska. With support from a prospect researcher and a talented team of fundraisers across the country, this position helps manages the data, donor moves and team priorities that help us achieve our 2 million plus dollar annual goal. This position also manages our active, engaged board of more than 16 members across the nation, and ensures that the board is set up for success in championing our Chapter’s goals.

We require a Bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant experience in fundraising, or an equivalent combination. Success in the position will require experience and skill with databases, generating reports as well as interpreting and analyzing data. This position requires a strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and a passion for both detail and process. The successful candidate will work collaboratively and influentially with Trustees, donors and colleagues across the organization, while upholding TNC’s value of One Conservancy and showing dedication to a truly donor-driven strategy. A working knowledge of charitable gift planning concepts will help this position meet annual goals.
