We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to join our team. The Dishwasher will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for dishes, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, etc., using machine and manual cleaning methods.
Duties:
- Load, run, and unload dishwashing machine.
- Wash specific items by hand when necessary.
- Store clean dishes, glasses, and equipment appropriately.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is clean and in good working order.
- Remove trash regularly.
- Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Dishwasher or in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Skills:
- Experience in a kitchen environment.
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards.
- Understanding of food service operations.
- Knowledge of restaurant or hotel kitchen operations.
- Ability to assist cooks and kitchen staff as needed.
- Experience with bussing tables or culinary background is a plus.
