This is a full-time seasonal position, located in Juneau, Alaska.
Admiralty Environmental is looking for dynamic individuals to join the firm as seasonal Environmental Technicians in our Juneau, Alaska office from April/May – September/October. This position will be responsible for supporting a variety of projects that include environmental sampling, laboratory analysis, and project management for a variety of industrial clients in the cruise ship, mining, drinking water, and wastewater treatment industries. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level environmental professional to work with a well-established and technically diverse group on challenging environmental water quality issues.
Key Duties
Assisting on field sampling projects (locally in Juneau, and throughout SE Alaska);
Assisting with viral transport medium (VTM) production;
Analyzing water samples in the field and laboratory and interpreting environmental chemistry data;
Data entry and quality control tasks;
Interacting with clients and regulatory agencies,
Assisting in report writing, and
General office tasks.

Job Requirements
Qualified candidate will have the minimum of:
Undergraduate coursework in Geology, Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, or Engineering;
Strong writing, communication, and computer skills;
Ability to work in the field in industrial settings;
Ability to work independently with limited supervision, as well as ability to work effectively as a part of larger teams.
Proof of completed COVID-19 vaccination.
Reliable private transportation for field sampling.
