Hi! Thank you for your interest in our Store Manager position. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dispensary Manager to oversee the operations of our cannabis dispensary. As the Dispensary Manager, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with all legal regulations, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of dedicated staff members. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the cannabis industry, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering a high-quality customer experience.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of dispensary operations, including inventory management, cash sales, customer service, and staff supervision.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations governing the sale of cannabis products.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline operations and ensure consistency.
- Train and motivate staff members to provide exceptional customer service and product knowledge.
- Monitor inventory levels and work closely with suppliers to ensure an adequate supply of products.
- Maintain a clean and organized dispensary environment that meets all health and safety standards.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Implement marketing strategies to drive customer traffic and increase sales.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
- Prepare and analyze sales reports, financial data, and other metrics to evaluate dispensary performance.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop business strategies and goals.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a management role within the cannabis industry is required.
-High School Diploma/GED required
- In-depth knowledge of cannabis products, strains, and consumption methods.
- Strong understanding of local, state, and federal regulations governing the sale of cannabis products.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and point-of-sale systems.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must be at least 21 years old and have or obtain a Marijuana Handlers Permit in the state of Alaska.
