The University of Alaska Southeast (UAS) seeks a self-motivated, full-time Administrative Coordinator for the Office of the Chancellor and Provost. This position offers the opportunity to work with university leadership, supporting strategic initiatives that shape UAS's future. The Administrative Coordinator will provide administrative support to the offices of the Chancellor and Provost through purchasing, high-level event coordination, executive travel management, and special projects that directly impact institutional success.

To thrive in this role, applicants should demonstrate strong attention to detail, interest in process improvement, the ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic office environment. As an initial point of contact for the Office of the Chancellor and Provost, the Administrative Coordinator will offer exceptional customer service to support internal and external stakeholders alike. Experience with or exposure to higher education administrative software and systems (including but not limited to Banner) is a plus! Previous experience in purchasing and budget support is also preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate's degree and two years of progressively responsible experience related to the program specialty, OR an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Position Details:

This position is located on the University of Alaska Southeast campus in Juneau. Please note that this is a fully onsite role; hybrid and/or remote work is not available. This is a full-time, non-exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package. UA provides a generous compensation package that includes retirement options, annual leave, 12 paid holidays per year, tuition waivers for employees and family members, and affordable medical, dental and vision care coverage. New hires will be placed on the UA Staff Salary Schedule, Grade 78, based on education and experience.
