The Position and Leadership Opportunity
Interior Alaska Center for Non-Violent Living seeks an experienced leader with a passion for creating a community free of violence to serve as its next Executive Director (ED). The ideal candidate will be an organized and compassionate communicator who brings transparency and a trauma-informed approach to the team, as well as a proven track record of establishing and stewarding long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships to help create safe, supportive communities for all.
Partnering with the organization’s Board of Directors, the ED provides leadership, strategic direction, and vision for the achievement of the mission. Interior Alaska Center for Non-Violent Living is a crucial and complex organization that is recognized at the local, state, and national levels for its impact, and the ED will have the opportunity to effect improvements for Interior Alaska’s vulnerable populations by supporting the organization’s evolution. The incoming leader will be met with an exceptional team supporting an array of critical programs, and a charge to steward the IAC mission through recent and ongoing changes and to increase the overall visibility of the agency throughout the community and State.
Application Process
The salary range is $98,000-$105,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Interior Alaska Center for Non-Violent Living provides competitive benefits.
