Join the Southeast Senior Services team in Angoon, Craig/Klawock, Haines, Hoonah, Kake, Sitka, or Wrangell taking surveys of local elders to assess their needs. Job duties include establishing a positive relationship with each elder, arranging an appropriate time and place for each interview, asking the survey questions and completing the form, providing reassurance during and after the interview, and performing other tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicant must be recommended by the Tribe or someone well-respected by the elders. Previous work experience working with elders required. Work experience conducting surveys or interviews desirable. Background check required.
These are short-term positions and will work variable hours for several months, possibly until September. Starting wage is $20/hour.
