Guide people visiting Sitka on shoreline based fly fishing trips. These trips are booked through the cruise lines and operate on an almost daily basis. This guide position requires becoming part of the crew of the boat that takes guides and guests to the river. All crew members must be enrolled in a random drug screening program. This involves a pre employment test and ongoing enrollment. This job is seasonal May through September. Full time, part time and overtime available. Pay $25-30 Hourly. Guides are provided all gear tackle and equipment for their guiding use and also to outfit the guests with. Guides are responsible for the maintenance of all gear and equipment used when guiding. Guides must attend required safety and training sessions. Required safety and training sessions will be paid time.
