Juneau Composts is a food scrap recycling hauler and compost processor. We produce high-quality compost, potting soil, mulch, and growing mixes for local gardening and landscaping. We turn a waste into a resource, and we have fun doing it!
Permanent positions for two or more people wanting to join our team! Part time and full time options.
Non-CDL Driver
Yard Operator
Seasonal Bagger
Tasks across all three positions include:
Driving non-cdl truck along service routes
Dumping buckets and totes of compostables
Washing containers
Keeping track of data
Operating skid steer
Processing daily loads
Turning Compost
Managing electric fence
Bagging compost and other products.
Stacking products on pallets
Quality control
Data entry
We will train for all aspects of the job. No skid steer experience necessary. Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a clean driving record are most important.
Starting pay is $19-22/hr. More when you crush it. We like to give raises when people work hard! After 6 months we can offer paid time off. Performance bonuses every 6 months and high fives all around. We pride ourselves on having a positive work environment and we love our employees! Free compost service included, and fresh eggs when we have enough to share.
