Raindrop Services, a small provider agency, is hiring a Direct Service Professional, to provide person centered supports to people with disabilities in their homes and in community settings.
We are looking for positive, patient people to provide supports to individuals helping them become more independent and learn new skills. Responsibilities include assistance in the home learning new skills, attending and participating in community events/recreational activities that promote independence and participation across all settings.
Specific examples of duties include:
Teaching people how to plan, prepare and cook meals
Maintain a clean household
Exercising outdoors, hiking, fishing and exploring Juneau
Accessing community events safely
Participating in activities both inside and outside the home

Position Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
First Aid/CPR Certification (training provided if needed)
Successfully pass a background check with the State of Alaska
Driver’s License, own car
Preferred
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
This position is scheduled for approximately 30-40 hours hours a week, including Saturday hours.
Employment involves split shifts throughout the day. Flexibility is key to this successfully filling this position.
Pay: Starting $22 an hour with paid holidays also.
