We are seeking a dependable Cook to prepare and present nutritious, appealing meals for Wrangell's senior citizens. Duties include: relating to staff, participants and volunteers in a positive manner; supervising and training kitchen staff; ordering food and supplies; preparing meals according to senior nutrition program guidelines; and maintaining a clean, sanitary kitchen according to Alaska food service regulations.
Qualifications
Background check required. Prior industrial kitchen experience preferred but we will train. Must obtain State Food Worker's Card within 10 days of hire.
This position is part-time, 20 hours per week, starting wage $18/hour DOE.
