Apply now for this exciting opportunity!In this role, you will be responsible for leading Deliver Distribution strategic programs including analysis, business case development for end-to-end Distribution network and strategy projects across the J&J MedTech supply chain globally. This role will Manages other Managers, Supervisors, and/or individual contributors in a matrix environment, and is accountable for conducting effective performance management and meaningful career development conversations. Defines strategy and direction for a comprehensive, globally-structured Deliver Distribution delivery strategy aimed to ensure the company's current and potentially new customers have a solid end-to-end D supply chain solution signed off on and implemented, customized to their specific needs and requirements. Leads regular customer summit meetings to ensure all supply chain deliverables are being progressed to the customer's satisfaction, both in terms of quality of deliverables as well as stringent adherence to critical milestones and contractually agreed-upon goals and objectives.Primary business partners include Commercial Franchise, Supply Chain, Deliver, Procurement, EHS, Quality, Regulatory, and Finance. Collaboration skills, ability to work across the organization and across levels. A strong background in Operations, Analytics, Supply Chain, Commercial Franchise partnerships experience is imperative. You will lead cross functional teams to shape and drive Distribution strategies, operating standards, complete business case development, develop and submit capital appropriation requests (CAR), and lead strategic project execution. In addition, this role will assist in the development of the Strategic Plan for the MedTech Distribution Network, partnering closely with the MedTech franchises, to ensure Network standard processes are being matured and deployed across the businesses.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Advance the MedTech Deliver Distribution Strategy initiative including related Standards and Best practices globally (people, process, technology) across the regions, prioritizing and leading areas that will enable growth, improve Customer Experience, and drive E2E value and efficiencies.

Manages other Managers, Supervisors, and/or individual contributors in a matrix environment, and is accountable for conducting effective performance management and meaningful career development conversations.

Establishes and implements the Deliver Distribution Strategy systems integration strategy to grow business initiatives using a multi-approach evaluation, overseeing and providing recommendation criteria for long-term business value.

Defines and recommends optimal Distribution Strategic processes and procedures by portfolio, including comprehensive continuity plans linked with the company’s business strategy.

Leads identification and recommendation of strategic capacity expansions needed to support portfolio growth as well as new supply chain business opportunities.

Creates customer on-site optimization and network re-configuration scenarios to present to supply chain customers for customized key wins.

Responsible for managing operational aspects of their team (e.g., workflow, performance, and compliance), as well as ensuring achievement of team goals within established timelines and budgets.

Define MedTech Distribution network strategic elements, to enable Deliver and Supply Chain capabilities.

Develop key projects in partnership with the regional operations teams to drive strategy into execution.

Lead Distribution Network Strategic assessments – from ideation through case development and CAR preparation - demonstrating multi-functional teams to support future state needs.

Apply standard network analyses, prioritization tools, and deploy processes and methodologies across the segments.

Build & maintain strong partnership and connection with Commercial MedTech franchises, E2E functions and Enterprise teams.

Exhibit outstanding analytical, influencing, negotiating and interpersonal skills.

Assess operational maturity levels, define and execute continuous improvement priorities, Lead Business Excellence opportunity implementations for the region and drive business excellence throughout distribution.

Collaborate with key business leaders within and outside Deliver, and drive actions to meet stakeholder needs via the execution of analytics capabilities.

Contribute to continuous improvement processes by regularly developing, testing and applying practical, innovative solutions and methodologies to Deliver and E2E problems.

Implement standards and best practices, define and deploy technology strategy to fill gaps in capabilities, ensure consistency around ways of working among markets; Orchestrate deployment of regional technology strategy to fill gaps in capabilities and improve performance.

QualificationsQUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and/or University degree is required; focused degree in Supply Chain Logistics, Finance, Business, Engineering, Operations Management, Project Management or related field is preferred.REQUIRED

Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant business experience

Experience in highly regulated environments and complex supply chains

Experience leading cross-functional project teams or initiatives

Demonstrated leadership experience and resourcefulness in ambiguous programs driving partner engagement and alignment

PREFERRED

Supply Chain functional experience within Logistics, Distribution, Plan, Source, Make, Quality, Deliver, Engineering, Segment Deliver, Project Management or Finance

Strong financial competence

Experience developing long range strategy and cases based on delivering future needs of customers

Experience with Six Sigma/Process Excellence tools, training and/or certification

Knowledge and experience in project management, program management methodologies, processes, and tools (e.g., FPX, PMP, PMI/PMBOK)

Ability to translate strategy into execution

Other:

May require up to 50% domestic and/or international travel to other locations and sites

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $118,000 - $203,550/yr.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year.
