Alaska Juneau Mining Co is a fast-paced high energy souvenir / gift store that will cater to 1.4 million cruise ship passengers this summer. We are looking to hire an assistant store manager, must be available to work April through October 2024.
We are looking for a friendly, communicative, and customer service-oriented manager to oversee daily operations at the store. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in managing our team of retail associates, interacting with our customers, and will be contributing to the overall success and profitability of the store.
Job requirements
Assist Managing all aspects of store operations, including customer service, marketing, merchandising, inventory.
This role will recruit and train store employees, establish work schedules and assignments, and provide guidance to help employees grow professionally.
Opening, closing, and operating the retail facility. Including cash handling, stocking merchandise and inventory counts.
Oversee inventory levels; Verify the delivery of all merchandise to store, staying in contact with vendors, shippers, and warehouse manager.
