Summary
The Truck Mechanic is responsible for maintenance and repair of trucks and equipment.
Essential Job Functions
The Truck Mechanic is responsible for maintaining semi tractors, pickup trucks, forklifts, loaders, telehandlers, and other equipment as needed.
Typical Duties
Perform annual inspections
Performs preventative maintenance
Diagnoses and repairs run ability and drivability mechanical issues
Orders parts
Performs service calls and after hours calls as needed
Maintains maintenance records
Performs heavy duty maintenance including rear ends, transmissions, etc.
Promote Sourdough's Vision, Mission, and Culture statements
Other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
