Slayden Plumbing & Heating, Inc (One of Alaskas largest and well-established mechanical contractors) is seeking a qualified Plumbing Operations Manager to join our ever-expanding team.
Location of work is primarily in Anchorage and surrounding area. We are a Diverse, established construction company in commercial and industrial construction projects
Applicant will need to obtain State of Alaska and Municipality of Anchorage Journeyman cards within 90 days of hire date. Commercial experience and good driving record are necessary. Applicants with Department of Defense experience would be preferred.
Plumbing Operations Manager position expectations include but are not limited to the following:
Manage superintendents and plumbing personnel and equipment
Manage material procurement on all projects
Create and Manage budgets, RFIs, change orders and monitor project costs, job progressing, contract language, scheduling personnel
Experience with Mechanical Systems, Specifications, submittals,
Maintain/Develop positive relationships with our customers in the field
Computer experience in Excel and financial tracking software
Safety training, an understanding of Safety requirements in the construction environments.
Willingness to travel in Alaska is a plus.
