Full-time Journeyman Plumber needed primarily for mechanical purposes on oil and gas Boiler and Furnace Installs/Maintenance. Some plumbing involved.
Opening for a Journeyman Plumber to repair, maintenance, and install boilers and furnace systems in Fairbanks, North Pole, and surrounding areas. We are also open to hiring someone who is interested in learning the trade as an apprentice/laborer.
Minimum experience and education;
1. Four years minimum work-related experience
2. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
3. Pass a background check
4. High school diploma or equivalent
HVAC Technician minimum knowledge skills and abilities;
1. Knowledge of trades related to residential and commercial heating systems according to company standards
2. Conveys a professional and positive image and attitude
3. Must be able to work independently and demonstrate accountability and honesty
4. Strong organizational and time management skills
5. Available nights and weekends for on-call duties
6. Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards
HVAC Technician Responsibilities
1. Provide customers with a high quality experience, clean and polite
2. Have necessary tools in order to maintain, repair or install malfunctioning equipment
3. Develop and maintain rolling inventory of supplies needed to stock vehicle
4. Complete work orders for maintenance and repairs thoroughly and neatly
5. Arrive on time and notify customers if running late to job site
6. Troubleshooting skills
7. Notify Manager of any maintenance and repairs needed at locations
8. Keep company vehicle serviced, neat, clean and organized
