Electrical Parts Estimator Person
We are looking for someone who understands electrical parts and applications, ideally a retired electrician or someone who has worked at another electrical supply house.
We already have an established customer base and all our customers come to you. We are NOT commission based you get a competitive hourly wage, paid vacation time starting after your first year. Depending on the kind of year we have and your performance you may be eligible for an annual bonus as well. We are looking for someone who is looking for a career not just a job. There is plenty of room for advancement and we take care of our employees to make sure they are happy and committed to providing the best possible experience for our clients.
Job Duties include but are not limited to:
· Assisting customers, providing a quote, researching the products they need, purchasing products.
· Research is a big part of this job and a lot of times customers many not know what they need and it is our job to make sure they are getting the right product for the job.
· Our process normally starts with a phone call or email from our clients and from there we work out the details of what they need. We then quote it in Microsoft access and research it to get the best price, we factor in freight and lead times. After the customer has accepted the quote, we pull the products we have and order that ones we do not have. While the job itself is not as challenging for those who have knowledge of electrical parts, it may be overwhelming for those without that experience. That is why we do prefer someone with electrical parts knowledge.
· You must be pleasant, to deal with our relationship with our clients is our top priority. You must have a driver's license as well. Being on time and showing up every day is a must.
