GENERAL SUMMARY

This position will help oversee the day-to-day production functions of Fairbanks Precast & Rebar (FP&R). This includes coordinating the timely arrival of supplies, the manufacturing and inventory of concrete products, invoicing and coordinating the shipping of the finished product. All work is to be completed in a safe manner while maintaining an efficient operating organization.

This position requires the ability to work well with people, interface with customers, engineers, industry professionals, and other company personnel.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to)

- Help manage shop activities, production, and inventory at FP&R.

- Answer the phones and interact with clients in a professional manner.

- Assist in general sales of precast concrete products.

- Assist with office filing / organization, data entry and employee timesheets.

- Help maintain a strong safety culture throughout the facility.

- Manage necessary materials and supplies for the timely completion of projects.

- All other job duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

- A minimum of a high school diploma.

- The ability to read technical materials to interpret specifications and requirements for bids and contract performance.

- Experience in construction related fields and knowledge off basic engineering principals is desired.

- Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel and Word.

- It is necessary to have good oral and written communications skills so as to represent the company in a coherent and professional manner.

- Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced work environment.

- Possesses organizational skills and note taking.

- Operates a multi-line telephone system.

- Must be able to work independently as well as with a team.
